EXCITING NEWS!!! The Port Hotel is to be given a new lease in life by its new owner who is keen to make the historic hotel the central gathering place to meet with friends, family to enjoy a drink or great meal when staying or visiting Hopetoun.
If you like your schooner with a side of ocean views, the historic Port Hotel built in 1901 still stands majestically at the edge of Hopetoun, providing stunning views of the Southern Ocean. The hotel offers a bar lounge, restaurant, bottleshop, takeaway food and old world accommodation. Enjoy an array of beers on tap and a selection of fine wines, paired with seafood, a prime steak or a parmy! Sunsets are amazing from the windows of the Port.
It's great to see that live music is back at the venue with the Port regularly providing a program of live music events, throughout the year that showcases local musicians. If you're a budding performer or musician seeking more exposure? Head to the Open Mic sessions, one of two held in Hopetoun.
For those in the know, it's official... the much loved Summer Beach Party will be back 27th December 2025 and tickets available soon. Watch this space or keep an eye out on the socials for more information.
