The Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show is considered to be one of the largest wildflower shows in the world and attracts visitors from all parts of the globe.

Organised by a voluntary community group committed to the Fitzgerald Biosphere's wildflower preservation and education.  Each year, volunteers carefully collect under license up to 700 flowering species for spectacular display in the Ravensthorpe Town Hall, the headquarters of the Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show committee and Herbarium.  The specimens collected are all flowering and botanically identified by botanists before going on display. There are over 30 licensed collectors who volunteer each year to carry out this for the public to enjoy.  No specimens are collected from within the Fitzgerald River National Park which lies with in the region.

The show always begins in the second week of September and runs for up to 10 days.
