Dr Gillian Craig is a botanist who lived next to the Fitzgerald River National Park for 30 years. During her career, Gillian has carried out many floral surveys across the South Coast Region. She led a team of botanists that mapped the vegetation of the Ravensthorpe Range. Gillian authored the ‘Native Plants of the Ravensthorpe Region’ and runs plant identification courses for the Herbarium volunteers.

Wear: Clothing for bush walking, long sleeves, pants, covered shoes, hat and sunscreen

BYO: Water, snacks, insect repellent, camera, epi-pen if required and notify host of allergy

Note: Allow a 20minute drive to West Beach Carpark in the FRNP off Cave Point Road
