Meet Your Presenter

Sarah Hay’s two novels’ Skins (2002) and Texas: An Australian Love Story (2008) were published by Allen and Unwin. Skins won the 2001 Australian Vogel Award. Her second novel Texas was highly commended in the 2009 Prime Minister’s Literary Prize. Sarah has taught creative writing at the University of WA and presented at writers’ festivals around Australia, before becoming a lawyer and moving to regional WA. She is now working part-time to devote more time to writing fiction
