Meet Your Presenter

Bruce Powell’s work explores the fragile line between who we are and who we remember ourselves to be. A former intensive care doctor, he turned to writing after a brain injury disrupted his memory and sense of identity. His work draws on both clinical experience and lived reality, exploring how storytelling can help navigate uncertainty without forcing easy answers. He is a Headway UK Ambassador and ABC Radio panellist who speaks about the therapeutic role of writing in recovery and advocacy. Bruce has also produced a new series of podcasts; "Shift Happens" available to listen on his website www.drbrucepowell.com
