Participants will learn how to extract and test tannin dyes from locally sourced plant materials, then use mordant-mark-making and printing techniques to create their own colourful designs on cotton fabric. All materials, equipment and workshop notes provided, suitable for beginners.

Notebook and pen, water bottle, empty 2L container with lid (eg. 2L milk container)

Wear suitable warm clothing and covered shoes, participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch to have after the workshop.
