Walking in the Fitz

The walk is approximately 10kms long, it is a medium to hard walk along a few sandy fishing tracks until we hit the iconic Hakea Trail and head back to West Beach taking in some of the most spectacular and rugged coastline. This is a minimum 4-5 HOUR walk, you will be walking in diverse terrain, along tracks, there are no toilet facilities along the track, so visit the Cave Point area facility nearby before you arrive at West Beach car park. Come prepared for all weather.

What to bring: Epi-pen if you have an allergy (notify the leader), lunch and snacks, water, sunscreen, hat, insect repellent, walking sticks and gators can be handy also.

NOTE: It is approximately a 20-minute drive from Hopetoun to the starting point.
