CAROL PETTERSEN - OAM

Carol Pettersen was born at Gnowangerup Mission and raised in the bush at Jerramungup in a family of seventeen, but has spent most of her life on her traditional ‘country’ of Albany. She has long been involved in Indigenous Affairs and been appointed to many federal and state government advisory bodies, in addition to be awarded National NAIDOC Female Elder of the Year in 2008.
