We've been advised that the Park was scheduled to be opened late this afternoon and to give time for access roads to open we'll not be opening Hamersley Inlet Campground until tomorrow, Tuesday, 5th December.

Although the danger has passed, the work of the firefighters hasn't stopped and they will be monitoring today and overnight and fingers crossed there will be no further development.

It's been a very long week for everyone involved in fighting the fires and keeping our community safe. If you know one of these amazing people, even if it is in your own community, give them a shout out and maybe buy them a well deserved drink or a simple Thank You
